Elena was inspired to paint this piece by the beautiful full moon in all its luminescent glory. In Cayman, it’s not uncommon to be able to get a glance of the seasonal super moons that light up the entire sky and reflect against the darkness of the ocean. Elena incorporated aluminum foil in this painting in order to create the stunning textures.
